Interview with Pure Window Cleaning

Pure Window Cleaning-surrey

Since their inception in 2007, you’ve likely driven past many a gleaming window in the Kent, East Sussex and Surrey areas thanks to the work of Pure Window Cleaning. The owner, Matt, has agreed to answer some of our questions about his business, what it’s like to serve the local area, and his potential ideas for the future.

Where are you based?

We’re based in Surrey, East Sussex, and Kent, covering a wide range of beautiful locations across these counties. We’re proud to serve our local communities and keep their windows sparkling clean.

What services do you offer?

We specialize in residential and commercial window cleaning, using both traditional methods and advanced water-fed pole systems for those hard-to-reach areas. Beyond windows, we also offer gutter cleaning, soffit and fascia cleaning, and conservatory roof cleaning. Basically, if it’s part of your home or business exterior and needs cleaning, we can help.

Why is it important to get your windows cleaned?

Clean windows don’t just improve the look of your home or business; they also help maintain the glass quality and allow more natural light in. Over time, dirt and grime can cause damage, so regular cleaning is essential to keep them looking great and lasting longer.

How does your company stay up to date with the latest techniques and technology?

We’re always on the lookout for the latest innovations in the industry. We attend industry workshops, follow key trends, and invest in new technology like purified water systems, which help us clean windows more effectively and eco-friendly. It’s all about providing the best service to our clients.

How do you keep your clients happy?

Communication and reliability are key. We make sure to listen to our clients’ needs, show up on time, and deliver a top-quality service every time. Plus, we offer flexible scheduling and tailor our services to fit their specific requirements.

What’s the most important part, from your perspective, of running a local business?

For me, the most important part of running a local business is building trust and strong relationships with the community. People aren’t just customers—they’re neighbors, friends, and fellow residents. Delivering consistent, high-quality service and being reliable goes a long way in earning their confidence.

Which qualifications or achievements has your team acquired?

Our team is fully trained and insured, with certifications in health and safety standards and specialized window cleaning techniques. We’re accredited by MGWC (Master Guild of Window Cleaners) and The WCA (Window Cleaner’s Alliance).

What is your favourite part of running your business?

My favorite part of running Pure Window Cleaning is the satisfaction of making a visible difference for our customers. I also love the variety that comes with running the business. Every day is different, whether it’s meeting new clients, solving unique challenges, or just enjoying the outdoors while working. It’s a privilege to combine hard work with something that makes a positive impact to people and adds their properties.

How do you see your business and services evolving in the future?

We’re always looking to expand our services and stay ahead of the curve with eco-friendly solutions and the latest technology. In the future, we plan to offer even more comprehensive exterior cleaning services and continue to refine our methods to be as efficient and sustainable as possible.
